Protein Ladders

Protein ladders, also known as protein markers or protein standards, are used to estimate the size of proteins separated in electrophoresis. Protein ladders contain mixtures of highly purified proteins with known molecular weights and characteristics, and are loaded next to samples to be tested in gels.

Amerigo Scientific offers prestained or unstained protein ladders of different molecular sizes. These ladders are designed for monitoring protein separation during gel electrophoresis and estimating the molecular weight of proteins. All ladders are compatible for validation of western blotting transfer efficiency on PVDF, nylon, or nitrocellulose membranes.
