Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) is a form of preservation and preparation for biopsy specimens. FFPE tissue sections also known as paraffin tissue sections are an ideal tool for rapidly determining the cellular localization of DNA, RNA and protein markers in basic research and diagnostic applications.
Amerigo Scientific offers paraffin tissue sections based on the sample repository network established by the IRB-approved ethical standard and procedures. Our paraffin tissue sections are fixed in formalin after being excised, sectioned at 5 µm thickness, and mounted on positively charged glass slides. Tissue sources covers human (adult and fetal) normal tissues, human diseased and tumor tissues, as well as mouse, rat, and monkey tissues.
