Fluorescence imaging is a ubiquitous tool in life science laboratories. In experiments, two main sources of error are possible: the sample preparation and the imaging system. By regularly controlling the quality of instruments, the bias of instruments on life sciences experiments can be eliminated.
Multidimensional tools are specifically designed for the quality control (alignment, performances assessment, validation, and monitoring) of fluorescence imaging systems. The fluorescent microscope slides and microplates combined with the associated software detect imaging errors of microscope timely to enable an easy quality management and to acquire reproducible microscope images.
