pAAVdual-CMV-mCherry-BC-N25

pAAVdual-CMV-mCherry-BC-N25 plasmids are used to generate AAV Capsid Barcode Kits and AAV Capsid Barcode Libraries. This plasmid has AAV-CMV-SV40intron-mCherry-WPRE-BC-N25-bGHpolyA expression cassette. The CMV promoter is known for strong and ubiquitous expression in various cell types. The presence of the mCherry reporter gene allows for the enrichment of transgene-expressing cells, making it possible to identify and isolate cells that have taken up and expressed the AAV genomes. WPRE3 enhancer and SV40PolyA can enhance mCherry expression and stabilize mRNA. The random N25 BCs are located between WPRE3 and SV40PolyA.
Each plasmid in this series contains a unique DNA barcode (BC), allowing for the identification and tracking of individual AAV capsid variants in the kits or libraries. The random N25 BCs are located between WPRE and bGHPolyA.
