IT-143-A is a rare, higher homolog of the piericidin class isolated from a Streptomyces sp. by Taiho Pharmaceuticals in
collaboration with Chinese researchers in 1996. IT-143-A is active against the fungus, Aspergillus fumigatus, and the Gram-positive bacterium, Micrococcus luteus. IT-143-A is also active against KB carcinoma cells. Lack of availability until now has hindered exploration of its pharmacological effects.Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
