Dihydrocyclosporin A is co-metabolite of Cyclosporin A. Dihydrocyclosporin A has no immunosuppressant activity and has found use as a control to determine the role of Cyclosporin A in pharmacology, particularly for parasitic infections. Dihydrocyclosporin A is soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF and DMSO.
