    Background
    
    PT-Gluten is based on a wheat gluten preparation which has been proteolyzed by pepsin (porcine) and trypsin (porcine). After protease inactivation the soluble fraction has been dialyzed against 10 mM NH4HCO3 and freeze-dried.

    Storage is recommended at ≤ - 20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Delivery at ambient temperature is possible.

    Add the volume H2O the product is lyophilized from (see certificate of analysis) to the vial of lyophilized powder. Rotate vial gently until solid dissolves. After reconstitution the solution should be cooled on ice for short term storage.

    PT-Gluten may be used in biochemical approaches, e.g. as substrate for transglutaminases or as antigen for gliadinantibodies.
