pAAVone-sc-AAVrh.10-CMV-EGFP is a plasmid used to produce scAAVrh.10-CMV-EGFP using novel AAVone production system. It integrates all the AAV production necessary components, including Ad helper genes (E2A, E4orf6 and VA RNA), AAV helper genes (Rep and AAVrh.10), and a self-complementary AAV-CMV-EGFP genome. scAAVrh.10-CMV-EGFP viruses can be simply and efficiently produced by transfection of this single-into host cells, such us HEK 293 and HEK 293T. AAVrh.10 is a serotype of adeno-associated virus (AAV) that was originally isolated from rhesus monkeys. AAVrh.10 can efficiently target the CNS, liver, lungs, heart, and muscle tissues, among others. Its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier(BBB) makes it particularly valuable for delivering therapeutic genes to the brain.
