pAAVdual-CD144-EGFP is used to produce AAV-CD144-EGFP virus using novel AAVdual production system. In this plasmid, the regular single strand AAV genome with a CD144 promoter and an EGFP reporter is cloned into our novel Ad helper plasmid, mini-pHelper. AAV-CD144-EGFP viruses can be generated by co-transfection of this plasmid with regular AAV helper (pRCap) plasmids, carrying AAV2 rep gene and different cap genes, without adding additional Ad helper plasmid to supply E2A, E4orf6 and VA RNA functions.
The CD144 promoter, also known as the VE-cadherin promoter, is a regulatory sequence that controls the expression of the CD144 (VE-cadherin) gene. CD144 is a protein that plays a crucial role in the formation and maintenance of endothelial cell junctions, which are important for the integrity and function of blood vessels. This promoter is specifically active in endothelial cells, making it valuable for research and therapeutic applications targeting the vascular system. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
