pAAV-CAG-EGFP-BC-2xN12 plasmids are used to generate AAV Capsid Barcode Kits and AAV Capsid BC-Libraries. This plasmid has AAV-CAG-EGFP-WPRE-BC-2xN12-bGHpolyA expression cassette. The CAG promoter is known for strong and ubiquitous expression in various cell types. The presence of the EGFP reporter gene allows for the enrichment of transgene-expressing cells, making it possible to identify and isolate cells that have taken up and expressed the AAV genomes. WPRE enhancer and bGH polyA can enhance EGFP expression and stabilize mRNA.
Each plasmid in this series contains a unique DNA barcode (BC), allowing for the identification and tracking of individual AAV capsid variants in the kits or libraries. The random 2xN12 BCs are located between WPRE and bGHPolyA.Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
