L-alpha-Phosphatidylcholine distearoyl, also known as 1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine or DSPC, is an uncharged cell membrane phospholipid. It is one of a number used in membrane research. DSPC is also a formulation component for drugs as part of liposomal delivery systems, including for mRNA vaccines such as those used against COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2).
