Job Description

Amerigo Scientific is looking for a customer-focused and scientifically knowledgeable Inside Sales Representative responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new and existing customers and positioning products to provide solutions for their scientific and commercial needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating cross-functionally for proper utilization of internal resources
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans for business expansion
  • Identifying and reaching out to prospective customers proactively and following up customer inquiries, sample requests, webinars and tradeshow leads
  • Researching competitor and industrial activities and keeping advised of new products/services and other general information of interest to customers

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in life sciences, preferably in biochemistry, molecular biology, or genetics
  • Sales or lab experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multi-task and meet deadlines
