Job Description

Amerigo Scientific is looking for Business Development Manager to join our team to research prospective customers, create outreach strategies and identify new sales opportunities. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with our experienced technical sales leaders and build potential for future sales positions within our growing sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Driving business development initiatives that are consistent with the company's overall strategy, including the cultivation of new partnerships and collaborations
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to lead commercial activities and processes required to maximize business opportunities
  • Monitoring and providing feedback on market trends and competitive dynamics
  • Playing a leading role in the identification of business opportunities in new markets

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in the core life science discipline; Ph.D. preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of life science industries and sensitivity to novel technologies
  • Project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong sales skills, including but not limited to analytical, communication, and negotiation
