      • Overview
        • ER-Tracker probes are a series of probes that are cell membrane permeable and highly selective for the endoplasmic reticulum of living cells. Unlike traditional DiOC6(3), this series of probes hardly stain mitochondria and can stain the endoplasmic reticulum at lower concentrations, and are almost non-toxic to cells. Using the optimization steps provided below to stain living cells and then fix them with aldehydes, the staining characteristics of living cells can be partially retained.
This product is ER-Tracker Blue-White DPX, Ex= 374 nm, Em= 430-640 nm, blue fluorescence, and is a member of the DapoxylTM (DPX) family. DPX series dyes all have the characteristics of long emission wavelength, high absorption coefficient, high quantum yield, and large Stokes shift. However, these dyes are environmentally sensitive, and will show phenomena such as increased polarity, shift of the maximum fluorescence wavelength to a higher wavelength, and decreased quantum yield.
This product is a 1 mM ER-Tracker Blue-White DPX storage solution dissolved in DMSO, and the recommended working concentration is 100 nM-1 μM.
