LysoTracker® series probes are a type of fluorescent dye that selectively stains acidic compartments in living cells. This type of probe has several important characteristics: 1) selective labeling of acidic organelles; 2) effective labeling of living cells at nanomolar (nM) concentrations; 3) multi-color probes are available, and multi-labeling experiments can be performed on samples according to the situation. LysoTracker® is composed of a fluorescent group and a connected weak base. It can freely pass through the cell membrane and generally accumulates on spherical organelles. It is suitable for observing the biosynthesis inside lysosomes and related pathogenesis. Lysotracker is only partially protonated at neutral pH, so the principle of labeling organelles with this probe may be related to its complete protonation and retention on the organelle membrane.
This product, LysoTracker® Green DND-26, is a green fluorescent labeled lysosomal probe with a maximum excitation/emission wavelength of 504/511 nm. This product is provided in the form of a 1 mM storage solution dissolved in anhydrous DMSO.Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
