This product provides a simple, safe and effective method for preserving and lysing vaginal swabs, cervical swabs, oral swabs, pharyngeal swabs, nasal swabs, peripheral blood, urine, bacteria, viruses, fungi and other samples. This product lyses cells in an alkaline environment through surfactants, thereby releasing DNA and RNA in the cells. The mixed liquid of the sample and the product can be used as an amplification template directly for genetic testing such as PCR, RT-PCR, fluorescent PCR, digital PCR, and amplicon sequencing, without the need for nucleic acid extraction and purification.
