      • Overview
        • This product provides a simple, safe and effective method for preserving and lysing sputum samples. This product lyses cells through surfactants in an alkaline environment, thereby releasing nucleic acids in the cells. This reagent has a fast processing speed.

          Product features:
          · Fast lysis speed, no additional heating required.
          · Long storage time. Sputum samples liquefied with a sputum liquefaction tube or sputum sample nucleic acid treated with a sample release tube can be stored at room temperature for 5 days.
          · It has the dual functions of rapid liquefaction at room temperature and release of nucleic acids.

      • Properties
        • Storage
Store at 2°C to 30°C. Shelf life: 12 months.
          Note
          · Check the packaging for any damage before use. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged.
          · For fungal sample testing, standard vortex mixing does not improve lysis efficiency. The collected sputum volume should not exceed 3 ml, as excess volume may reduce liquefaction efficiency.
          · Both the sputum liquefaction tube and the sample releasing tube contain colorless, clear liquids. If turbidity or precipitates are observed, discontinue use.
          · This product is corrosive. Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, or mouth during use. Use only within the product's expiration date.
          · For bulk-packaged products, if the sputum liquefaction tube is not used up in a single application, ensure the cap is tightly closed promptly. Do not allow prolonged exposure to air. Discontinue use if turbidity or flocculent suspension appears.

          * For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

      • Applications
        • Application
For PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, etc.
          Application Description
Used for rapid liquefaction and release of nucleic acids from sputum samples.
Used for preprocessing of the samples to release the analytes from their bound state with other substances, facilitating detection using in vitro diagnostic reagents or instruments.
Application Range: This product can be used in combination with subsequent PCR reagents or amplicon sequencing library preparation, or it can be used independently for short-term storage of nucleic acids from lysed samples.
