      • Overview
        • Sortase A is a tool enzyme used for protein coupling and modification. Sortase A-mediated ligation (SML) is an efficient semi-synthetic method for proteins, enabling the introduction of specific modifying groups into large proteins. It is widely used in the preparation of protein samples carrying post-translational modifications and functional molecules (such as fluorescent groups and active probes). It can specifically recognize the N-terminal GGG sequence and the C-terminal LPXTG sequence. The resulting LPXTG ligation sequence has a simple structure and low immunogenicity, making it a currently popular tool enzyme.
This product is a high-purity, high-activity transpeptidase prepared using an E. coli expression system through multi-step chromatography. It is mainly used in protein chemical modification, ligation, and cyclization.
