Enterokinase (light chain, EK) is a recombinantly expressed serine protease that specifically recognizes the Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys sequence and cleaves the C-terminal peptide bond of Lys. It can cleave fusion proteins containing this recognition sequence. It is used in biopharmaceutical, synthetic biology, and molecular biology research on recombinant fusion proteins or peptides. This product is a high-purity, high-specificity, and high-activity bovine enterokinase mutant prepared by recombinant expression in E. coli.
