Rhodamine 123 (Rh 123) is a commonly used cationic green fluorescent dye that can penetrate the cell membrane and aggregate in the mitochondria of living cells, emitting yellow-green fluorescence. It can be widely used to detect mitochondrial membrane potential and has no toxicity to cells.
In addition, Rh123 has no fluorescence interference with conventional protein dyes such as PE-Cy5 and AMCA (7-amino-4-methylcoumarin-3-acetic acid), so it can be used in multi-label experiments. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
