        • PROTEOfectene® is a lipid-based formulation which forms non-covalent complexes with proteins. PROTEOfectene® enables proteins to be introduced directly into mammalian cells without the need for prior gene expression, maintaining proteins' structure and function completely unchanged. Thus, this kit alows new possibilities, from localization studies using fluorescence-marked proteins to direct manipulation of cell metabolism by means of functionally capable enzymes.
          R-Phycoerythrin is served in the kit. R-Phycoerythrin is a very suitable red fluorescent protein for application as positive control in proteofection experiments. Excitation wave lengths: 480, 545 and 565 nm. Emission wavelength: 578 nm (visible red).
