pAAVone-sc-AAV11-CMV-EGFP is a plasmid used to produce scAAV11-CMV-EGFP using novel AAVone production system. It integrates all the AAV production necessary components, including Ad helper genes (E2A, E4orf6 and VA RNA), AAV helper genes (Rep and AAV11), and a self-complementary AAV-CMV-EGFP genome. scAAV11-CMV-EGFP viruses can be simply and efficiently produced by transfection of this single-into host cells, such us HEK 293 and HEK 293T. AAV11 is another relatively lesser-known serotype within the AAV family. Like other lesser-used AAV serotypes, it has been explored primarily in the context of understanding capsid diversity and tropism. AAV11 shares some similarities with other serotypes, but its tissue tropism and potential applications in gene therapy remain less characterized compared to more common serotypes such as AAV2, AAV8, and AAV9.
