Naïve Serum

Snap frozen tissue, fresh cells, and frozen serum from naïve mice (no immunization) and control mice (immunized with adjuvant only).

These products are for use as negative controls, for comparison to disease-induced mice. Tissue is time-matched to tissue from diseased mice.

Availability
Frozen serum from naïve mice (no immunization or disease induction).
Serum samples from DBA/1 mice, collected at age 8 to 18 weeks.
Serum samples from C57BL/6 mice, collected at age 8 to 18 weeks.
Serum samples from BALB/c mice, collected at age 8 to 18 weeks.

Preparation
Mice 8 to 14 weeks of age are acclimated to our facility for at least 7 days.

Frozen serum products
At termination blood is immediately collected, and serum is isolated.

Serum from multiple mice is pooled and stored at -80 °C until shipment.
