Indomethacin is a part of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class, and as such exhibits anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic properties. Indomethacin has also demonstrated the ability to inhibit cell growth and induce apoptosis in cancer cell lines.
