HisSep Ni-NTA Agarose Resin 6FF uses highly cross-linked 6% agarose gel as the matrix, and chemically couples tetracoordinated nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) as the ligand. After chelating nickel ions (Ni2+), a very stable octahedral structure is formed, and the nickel ions are at the center of the octahedron. This structure can protect nickel ions from the attack of small molecules, is more stable, and can withstand harsh conditions such as a certain concentration of reducing agents, denaturants or coupling agents. In addition, due to the pressure resistance of its matrix (the matrix can withstand a pressure of up to 0.3 MPa), this product can be used for industrial large-scale protein purification, and can achieve purification of target proteins at a relatively high flow rate.
