Product Principle
FFPE Sample Release Reagent provide a simple, safe and effective method to release and preserve nucleic acid from FFPE samples. This reagent releases total nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) from cells by lysing the cells with surfactants in an alkaline environment. This reagent can quickly release nucleic acid from FFPE samples.
Product features:
· Fast speed.
10 minutes for lysis and release of nucleic acids from paraffin-embedded tissue samples.
· High safety.
The product does not contain xylene and other dewaxing components, effectively protecting the safety of the experimental operators.
· Easy to operate.
No need to dewax the paraffin-embedded tissue samples with xylene and nucleic acid extraction and purification, the operator can directly extract the mixture of FFPE samples and this product and add it directly to the PCR reaction system as amplification template for subsequent detection.
· Long storage time for DNA.
Under room temperature, the DNA released after lysis of paraffin-embedded tissue samples can be stored stably in this product for 3~4 days.
Main component
It is mainly composed of Tris-HCl(PH8.0)、0.5M EDTA(PH8.0)、Triton X-100 and H2O
Method of Application
For Sections of FFPE samples:
· Scrape off the paraffin-embedded tissue on the slide with a sterilized instrument, submerge the sections into this product (at least three 5 µm thick sections should be added).
· Tighten the cap of the tube and heat it at 90°C for 10 minutes.
· Place the product on an oscillator and shake vigorously for a few seconds, then centrifuge to make sure there is no residual material on the wall of the tube. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
