  - D, L-sulforaphane is the chemopreventive and anticarcinogenic constituent of broccoli. It is a potent inducer of Phase 2 detoxification enzymes, which act to reduce oxidative stress and carcinogenesis. D, L-sulforaphane also stimulates the body’s antioxidant defense system by stimulating glutathione synthesis through the NRF2 pathway.
