In humans, CIAPIN1 (Cytokine Induced Apoptosis Inhibitor 1) encodes a protein called Anamorsin. Expression of CIAPIN1 is dependent on growth factor stimulation. It has no relationship to apoptosis regulatory molecules of the BCL2 or CASP families. Its related pathways include Metabolism and Cytosolic iron-sulfur cluster assembly. Among its related GO annotations are methyltransferase activity and iron-sulfur cluster binding.
