BcMag™ His-Co+ Magnetic Beads

BcMag™ His-Co Magnetic Beads are 1µm silica-based superparamagnetic beads charged with high density cobalt (Co+2) on the surface. The beads are specifically designed for Immunoprecipitation (IP) by using ultrapure His-tagged recombinant proteins. However, it can be also be used to purify the recombinant his-tagged protein expressed at extremely low level in host. Compared with Ni charged magnetic beads, the Cobalt charged magnetic beads exhibit very low nonspecific binding.
