Overview
- Reacts with a monomorphic determinant on MHC class II, HLA-D region molecules. It detectsthe molecules of the HLA-DR, DP and DQ loci. It inhibits the mixed lymphocyte culture. It also reactswith MHC class II molecules of various animals and is a useful tool for studies with dogs. The antibodyis useful for the identification of HLA-D positive molecules using either microcytotoxicity testing orimmunofluorescence/immunoperoxidase procedures. Furthermore, it was found useful for studies onfunctional aspects of MHC class II molecules.
