Recognizes CD17, a membrane lipid moiety lactosylceramide expressed on granulocytes, monocytes and platelets. Besides playing a pivotal role in the biosynthesis of complexglycosphingilipids, lactosylceramide is involved in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions and in signalingevents linked to cell differentiation, development, apoptosis and oncogenesis. Lactosylceramideregulates integrin functions and production of nitric oxide.Immunogen: Pre-B cell line NALM-6
