Specifically detects intact AAV2, AAV3 and Anc80 particles, both empty and full capsids. A20R recognizes a conformational epitope of assembled AA2, AAV3 and Anc80 capsids. This epitope not present in denatured and native unassembled capsid proteins. Not for WB.
The A20R antibody is used as capture and detection antibody in the AAV2 Titration ELISA 2.0R (PRAAV2R), the AAV3 Titration ELISA 2.0R (PRAAV3R) and the AAV2 Xpress ELISA (PRAAV2XP).Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
Background
For characterization of different stages of infection and very useful for the analysis of the AAV2 assembly process. A20R specifically reacts with intact AAV2, AAV3 and Anc80, empty and full capsids. Recognizes a conformational epitope of assembled capsids, not present in denatured capsid proteins and native but unassembled capsid proteins. The antibody cannot be used for immunoblotting.
