ALL-Fect In Vivo is recommended for use in animal models.
Benefits
• High transfection efficiency in the presence of serum.
• Effective delivery of pDNA molecules via a simple protocol that is ideal for scale-up and automation.
• Minimal toxicity compared to other commercial reagents, reducing adverse effects on highly sensitive human cells.
• Non-integrating transfection reagent eliminates unwanted effects due to host genome integration.
• Possibility of using the same transfection reagent in animal models, leading to harmonized studies. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
Background
ALL-Fect is a highly effective, broadly-acting transfection reagent for attachment dependent and independent cells. ALL-Fect is a synthetic amphiphilic polymer that is tailored for both siRNA and DNA delivery to a wide range of cells. It is capable of undergoing multivalent interactions with polynucleotides and encapsulating co-incubated polynucleotides into 100-200 nm particles with a net positive charge. The complexation between the polynucleotides and the ALL-Fect occurs in aqueous buffers, obviating the need for organic solvents during preparation. ALL-Fect is a non-integrating carrier, so that the genetic make-up of host cells is not altered after treatment with the transfection reagent. ALL-Fect has been tested and found effective in different types of attachment dependent cells as well as suspension-growing cells. As with all transfection reagents, formulations of ALL-Fect with DNA or RNA may need to be optimized for specific cell types and transfection conditions.
