Furthermore, due to its golden appearance, TiN is often used for decorative purposes, such as gold-colored bathroom fixtures like showerheads and towel racks. As a result, TiN coatings find extensive applications in both mechanical manufacturing and decorative materials.
Currently, sputtering is the most commonly employed method for TiN coating. This process typically involves using a titanium target for reactive sputtering or directly employing TiN sputtering targets when higher quality is required.
