Single Donor Human Serum is whole blood derived. The whole blood is collected from donors in an FDA-approved collection center. The blood is allowed to clot and is then processed into serum via centrifugation, and is frozen immediately after processing.
Viral Testing
Each unit is tested for the standard FDA-required viral markers, and found negative for HBsAg, HCV, HIV-1, HIV-2, HIV-1Ag or HIV-1 NAT, ALT, and syphilis using FDA-approved methods. If you would like any further testing or analysis performed prior to shipping, please let us know.
