rTrypsin 3.0 is a recombinant metalloprotease that enables ultra-fast and specific cleavage at the C-terminal peptide bonds of arginine (R) and lysine (K). The enzyme has been redesigned at the gene sequence level and methylation-modified, featuring ultra-rapid digestion, resistance to autolysis, and high catalytic activity.
Physical Form: Lyophilized powder containing 20 µg trehalose.
Reconstitution: Dissolve in 20 µL of 1 mM HCl to obtain a concentration of 1 µg/µL.
Shelf Life: 24 months when stored at –20°C.
pH Range: rTrypsin 3.0 protease exhibits optimal activity between pH 7–9.
Digestion Protocol:
Recommended digestion buffer: 20 mM Tris, 50 mM ammonium bicarbonate (ABC), or HEPES buffer with pH between 7–9.
For denatured protein samples: Use the enzyme at a 1:50 (w/w) enzyme-to-protein ratio. Maintain the protein concentration at 0.5 µg/µL and incubate at 45°C in a dry bath for 30 minutes. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
