YBX1 Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 347 amino acids (1-324a.a) and having a molecular mass of 38.3kDa. YBX1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Y Box Binding Protein 1 (YBX1) is a part of the CRD-mediated complex which promotes MYC mRNA stability. YBX1 takes part in mammalian selenoprotein translation and mediates pre-mRNA alternative splicing regulation. YBX1 uses as a drug target in cancer therapy due to its ability to replicate adenovirus type 5, a commonly used vector in gene therapy.
