        • UBXN2B Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 354 amino acids (1-331) and having a molecular mass of 39.5 kDa. UBXN2B is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. UBX Domain Protein 2B (UBXN2B) is a 331 amino acid protein which comprises one UBX domain and one SEP domain. UBXN2B is essential for ER and Golgi biogenesis and also takes a place in their maintenance during interphase, as well as their reassembly at the end of mitosis. Through interaction with VCP, UBXN2B forms a complex that has membrane fusion activity.

          The UBXN2B solution (0.5mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) and 10% glycerol.
          Storage
          Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
