PPP1R3B is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Protein Phosphatase 1, Regulatory Subunit 3B (PPP1R3B) is the catalytic subunit of the serine/theonine phosphatase, protein phosphatase-1. PPP1R3B, which is expressed both in liver and in skeletal muscle tissue, regulates glycogen synthesis in these tissues. PPP1R3B is involved in type 2 diabetes and maturity-onset diabetes of the young.
