Keratinocyte growth factor (KGF), also known as FGF-7, is a member of FGF family. It is a cytokine discovered in the culture supernatant of embryonic lung fibroblasts. KGF, an effective epithelial cell-specific growth factor, is secreted by mesenchymal cells and its receptor is distributed in epithelial cells. Its mitotic activity is mainly manifested in keratinocytes, which can specifically stimulate the proliferation, migration and differentiation of epithelial cells. It also closely relate to organ development, wound healing, tumorigenesis and immune reconstruction etc.
OsrhKGF, expressed in the rice endosperm platform and purified by chromatography, is animal component free and has high biological activity. The rice endosperm platform makes the manufacture capability at hundreds of gram scales to meet your bulk bioprocessing needs. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
Background
OryzHiExp - A Rice Endosperm Specific Expression Platform
OryzHiExp platform uses rice endosperm cells to express various recombinant proteins and small peptides at high levels. Through this platform, innovative animal-free protein products with a wide range of applications can be produced, such as OsrHSA, OsrhTF, OsrhFN, and other recombinant growth factors.
