Porcine Interleukin-15 (IL-15) Recombinant

Porcine Interleukin-15 (IL-15) Recombinant has been recombinantly produced in yeast and purified using ion-exchange chromatography. This is a lyophilized powder with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is endotoxin free, naturally folded, and post-translationally modified. This product can be used in cell culture, as an ELISA Standard, and as a Western Blot control. Interleukin-15 (IL-15) is a cytokine that induces the proliferation of key immune cells, including natural killer cells. IL-15 is produced in response to viral infection and plays an important role in both innate and adaptive immunity. IL-15 is found in a wide variety of cells and tissues, but is primarily produced by dendric cells, monocytes and macrophages.
