Porcine Interleukin-13 (IL-13) Recombinant has been recombinantly produced in yeast and purified using ion-exchange chromatography. This is a lyophilized powder with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
This product is endotoxin free, naturally folded, and post-translationally modified. This product can be used in cell culture, as an ELISA Standard, and as a Western Blot control. Interleukin 13 (IL-13) plays a critical role in regulating IgE synthesis, mucus hypersecretion, airway hyperresponsiveness, and more. IL-13 is a mediator in the inflammatory response (especially allergic inflammation) and plays a role in airway diseases like asthma.
