pAAVone-sc-AAV6-CMV-EGFP is a plasmid used to produce scAAV6-CMV-EGFP using novel AAVone production system. It integrates all the AAV production necessary components, including Ad helper genes (E2A, E4orf6 and VA RNA), AAV helper genes (Rep and AAV6), and a self-complementary AAV-CMV-EGFP genome. scAAV6-CMV-EGFP viruses can be simply and efficiently produced by transfection of this single-into host cells, such us HEK 293 and HEK 293T. AAV6 is a naturally occurring serotype of adeno-associated virus that has gained attention for its ability to transduce a wide range of tissues, particularly muscle, lung, and liver. AAV6 shares some similarities with AAV1, as both belong to the same clade, but AAV6 has unique properties that make it a preferred choice for certain gene therapy applications, especially those targeting muscle and the respiratory system.
