pAAVone-sc-AAV1-CMV-EGFP is a plasmid used to produce scAAV1-CMV-EGFP using novel AAVone production system. It integrates all the AAV production necessary components, including Ad helper genes (E2A, E4orf6 and VA RNA), AAV helper genes (Rep and AAV1), and a self-complementary AAV-CMV-EGFP genome. scAAV1-CMV-EGFP viruses can be simply and efficiently produced by transfection of this single-into host cells, such us HEK 293 and HEK 293T. AAV1 is a serotype of adeno-associated virus that is known for its ability to efficiently transduce muscle, heart, and certain neuronal tissues. It has been widely used in gene therapy, especially for conditions where skeletal muscle transduction is critical. Compared to other AAV serotypes, such as AAV2, AAV1 has a stronger affinity for muscle tissues, making it a popular choice for muscle-targeted gene therapies.
