pAAVone-AAVrh.10-CMV-mCherry is a plasmid used to produce AAVrh.10-CMV-mCherry using novel AAVone production system. It integrates all the AAV production necessary components, including Ad helper genes (E2A, E4orf6 and VA RNA), AAV helper genes (Rep and AAVrh.10 Cap), and a single-strand AAV-CMV-mCherry genome. AAVrh.10-CMV-mCherry viruses can be simply and efficiently produced by transfection of this single-into host cells, such us HEK 293 and HEK 293T. AAVrh.10 is a serotype of adeno-associated virus (AAV) that was originally isolated from rhesus monkeys. AAVrh.10 can efficiently target the CNS, liver, lungs, heart, and muscle tissues, among others. Its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier(BBB) makes it particularly valuable for delivering therapeutic genes to the brain.
