Nucleic Acid Preservation (NAP) RNA/DNA Stabilisation Buffer

This Nucleic Acid Preservation buffer is recommended for the preservation of RNA and DNA. The buffer is intended for collection, transport and preservation of clinical specimens to be processed with molecular diagnostics platforms. When cryopreservation is not possible, the NAP buffer is an economical alternative for RNA preservation at ambient temperature for at least 2 months and DNA preservation for at least 10 months. The buffer acts as a storage reagent that both stabilises and protects cellular RNA and DNA in samples at ambient temperatures by penetrating the sample and deactivating the nucleases present in the sample. This buffer has been aseptically filtered to 0.2 micron and is manufacturing using ultra pure RNAse/DNAse free water.
