Mogengel Mouse Airway Organoid Kit is a chemically defined cell culture medium for the establishment and maintenance of mouse tracheal organoids derived from mouse tracheal stem cells. The self-renewing epithelial cells of the trachea are driven by the proliferation of basal cells. Mouse tracheal organoids contain basal cells, ciliated cells, secretory cells, and a few neuroendocrine cells, and thus the organoids display all the features of the airway. Thus, epithelial cells hold great promise for applications in the study of airway homeostasis and disease in terms of structure, cell type composition, and self-renewal kinetics.
