Mogengel Human Intestinal Organoid Kit is a chemically defined cell culture medium for the establishment and culture of human intestinal organoids derived from adult stem cells. The self-renewing epithelial cells of the intestine are driven by the proliferation of stem cells and their progenitors located in the crypts. Human small intestinal-like organs display all the small intestinal organ features due to the capacity of their intestinal epithelial cells in terms of structure, cell type composition and self-renewal. Thus, human small intestinal organoids offer unprecedented promise for the study of human intestinal development and disease, and may also have applications in regenerative biology through in vitro expansion.
