mini-pHelper-AAV2-Retro is a compact, optimized plasmid designed to produce AAV2-Retro empty particles or AAV2-Retro vectors. It integrates AAV2-Retro Rep and AAV2-Retro Cap genes into our mini-pHelper-1.0 backbone. Thus, it not only provides adenoviral helper functions (E2A, E4orf6, VA RNA), but also AAV helper functions (Rep and AAV2-Retro). When transfected into host cells alone, it facilitates the generation of truly-empty AAV2-Retro particles without any genetic materials inside of capsids. Co-transfection mini-pHelper-AAV2-Retro with pAAVtri-GOI enables high-efficiency production of recombinant AAV2-Retro vectors carrying your gene of interest (GOI).
