m-dPEG®12-azide, product number 10536, also known as azido-m-dPEG®12, is a monodispersed PEG product used in click chemistry applications. The single molecular weight discrete PEG (dPEG®) spacer is 38 atoms long (44.0 Å). The two ends of the linear polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer consist of a non-reactive, charge-neutral methyl group and an alkyne-reactive azido group, respectively. Both copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) and strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) work with this product. Possible click chemistry-based applications for this product include the construction of dendrimers and hydrogels and the modification of surfaces and biomolecules containing alkyne groups.
Ourmonodispersed polyethylene glycol (PEG) linkers and spacers are unique PEGylation reagents sold under the dPEG® tradename. Quanta BioDesign pioneered the processes for synthesizing monodisperse, discrete PEG reagents. Today, we are the leading manufacturer and innovator of monodispersed PEGylation reagents worldwide. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
